Have Adequate Rest Periods
The idea is not to push yourself to the brink. Yes, pain is gain. The idea is not to wear yourself out. If you do, it won’t work either. When you are between your sets, spend about 2 minutes resting. This will actually help to improve your levels. The shorter rest periods are better for building growth hormones.
If you don’t want to waste time during your 2-3 minutes rest sessions, use your muscles. Do some simple stretching and things of this nature. This way your muscles stay limber. You also won’t stress the muscles you have worked out as much.
Combine Other Repetition Focused Workouts

It’s also best to warm up before doing these. Do something like barbell squats. Never do the forced rep sessions without properly warming up. If you do, you will only be hurting your body.
Be Sure To Include Leg Workouts
Some of you might not see the benefit to this, but there are many. Including the legs with your upper body is proving to be very beneficial. Try doing some squats and lunges while lifting with your arms.
Running Is Not Always The Best Medicine
